Here is my quick review of the RP War Elephant.
Overall excellent casting and superb detail. After spending
some time checking on the parts, there are some issues on my kit.
1. There is one link of chain missing on the elephant belly
belt.
2. One half of the elephant does not match up on its back.
3. There is a mystery black line crack on the elephant head.
There are numerous parts for this kit. So take your time and
it will be a magnificent piece in your collection.
Congratulate to Hugo and the RP team for producing this
extraordinary kit.
Casting blocks removed. Elephant body halves matches at the top. Overall my elephant body fits better on the top, bottom and the front but not the rear due to uneven pressure apply on the moulds during casting.
In order to fix the body halves matching problem, I use a heat gun to soften the rear of the elephant. After several tries the problem is now fixed.
