The Trophy from Andrea Miniatures comes in a colour sleeve box with a sturdy brown padded foam cardboard and box to protect the figure parts. It consists of 31 white metal parts and a white resin scenic base of two Samurai in O-yoroi armour from the c.1300 Kamakura period. A complete and impressive vignette where a samurai warrior decapitating his opponent and holding aloft the severed head.

Final thoughts:

I seldom collect 54mm figure kit but this one has to be the most historical accurate Samurai kit in 54 mm with superb sculpting and all the fine details on the O-yorio armour by the sculptors. The only thing I prefer the Samurai should be wearing Kegutsu (fur shoes) rather than Waraji (straw sandals). Overall casting is excellent except for some flashes on the kabuto and the mae kusazuri. Congratulates to the sculptors for such a fine Samurai kit. I wish the kit is in 90 mm. It is still in production and highly recommended.
